Tattoo artist who brings live tattooing into the exhibition space with STILLFORM — a tattoo as a moment you carry away on your skin.
Jolana is a Prague-based tattoo artist who has been tattooing for about three years. A great nature lover, she channels its delicacy, wildness and natural harmony into her designs — most often as organic lines, abstract motifs and floral compositions.
She specialises mainly in abstract lines and abstract flowers, but enjoys new challenges and seeks an original path for every design. What matters most to her is that a tattoo feels natural, respects the body’s lines and becomes a genuine part of it — so that it not only adorns but truly harmonises with the person who wears it.
Her pop-up accompanied the show at Kobka 17 and the Borgo Universo festival in Aielli, Italy.

Jolana je tatérka z Prahy, která se tetování věnuje už přibližně tři roky. Jako velká milovnice přírody do svých návrhů často promítá právě její jemnost, divokost i přirozenou harmonii – nejčastěji v podobě organických linií, abstraktních motivů a květinových kompozic.
Specializuje se především na abstraktní linky a abstraktní květiny, ale ráda se pouští i do nových výzev a hledá originální cesty pro každý návrh. Nejvíce jí záleží na tom, aby tetování působilo přirozeně, respektovalo linii těla a stalo se jeho přirozenou součástí – tak, aby nejen zdobilo, ale opravdu ladilo s člověkem, který ho nosí.

Jolana ist eine Tätowiererin aus Prag, die sich dem Tätowieren seit etwa drei Jahren widmet. Als große Naturliebhaberin überträgt sie deren Zartheit, Wildheit und natürliche Harmonie in ihre Entwürfe — meist in Form organischer Linien, abstrakter Motive und floraler Kompositionen.
Sie spezialisiert sich vor allem auf abstrakte Linien und abstrakte Blumen, stellt sich aber gern neuen Herausforderungen und sucht für jeden Entwurf einen eigenen Weg. Am wichtigsten ist ihr, dass ein Tattoo natürlich wirkt, die Linien des Körpers respektiert und zu einem natürlichen Teil von ihm wird — damit es nicht nur schmückt, sondern wirklich zum Menschen passt, der es trägt.

Jolana è una tatuatrice di Praga che si dedica al tatuaggio da circa tre anni. Grande amante della natura, ne trasmette la delicatezza, la forza selvaggia e l’armonia naturale nei suoi disegni — il più delle volte sotto forma di linee organiche, motivi astratti e composizioni floreali.
Si specializza soprattutto in linee astratte e fiori astratti, ma ama le nuove sfide e cerca una via originale per ogni disegno. Ciò che le sta più a cuore è che il tatuaggio appaia naturale, rispetti le linee del corpo e ne diventi parte integrante — così che non solo decori, ma si armonizzi davvero con la persona che lo porta.
